JOURNALIST WEEK 9

Hello everyone! It's Alicia de Prado here, my role as journalist caught me again!

How interesting and funny are being these two weeks, don't you think? This week we have been working with the news stuff, as last week. This time, I didn't have to play such an attractive and sexy role as the country man I played las week. This time, I was behind the scenes with a camara in my hands. The rest of the Chalkies were also with new roles and new different situations.

On Monday, we were all told the roles we had to play, and our group started to do the script of each scene of the news, and left everything on point for next day. In our case, we had to do a soap opera, "Leona's diary", in which we were going to present a situation of bullyng. Each of us had a role, and we started to ensure what we were going to need for the day of recording the show.

Wednesday came! So did came the funniest moment. We were all very excited, and we were collaborating and cooperating with each other. I recorded some videos about the bullied case while part of my Chalkie's mates were helping with the scenary and helping as an extras. How difficult has been to record one scene in the first moment! We had to repeat, and repeat, and repeat... but finally we got the perfect secuence!.

It is a shame this has been the last week doing this activity. It has not only been interesting and amusing, we have learnt a lot about collaborative work and the use of technologis to get an awesome tv show.

All of us, the Chalkies, have been very motivated about this task, and we have worked and helpt in everything we have been asked for. In general, everyone of the class have loved the tasks and have given their best.

May is almost here, what we will have to do for our final task? We are looking forward to seeing what has Linda prepared for us... keep in touch with us to know!!
